A Personal Note from Our Pastor
Dear Wilson Friends,
In the next few days, members of our congregation will be contacting you to enlist your participation in our Capital Stewardship Program. The plan is called A Bold New Step! It will be a very positive experience that will serve as a launch pad into the future.
You may be asked to serve in one of the organizations within the A Bold New Step! plan. I hope you will say "Yes" to the opportunity to join this exciting and worthy effort.
Soon we will all be meeting together for an evening of fellowship. The purpose of this gathering is twofold: First, we want to share with you the plans that are being shaped by the church council. Second, we want to hear your thoughts. Together, we will be looking to the future that God is unfolding. Sue and I have been praying about this effort for the past several weeks. I hope you will join the leadership of your church as we pray for the future of our congregation.
I invite you to reserve Sunday evening May 2, 2010 on your personal and family calendars. That is the day of our church-wide Celebration Event related to the A Bold New Step! campaign. You will receive a personal invitation in a few weeks and a telephone call to confirm your reservation. Please circle the date today so you can be sure to join the Wilson family for this wonderful day of celebration.
